More About Spine Surgeon Abiola Atanda, M.D.

Abiola Atanda, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in robotic-assisted surgery, degenerative and deformity surgery. Dr. Atanda completed a combined Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Spine Surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, KY, completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at the prestigious NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (Hospital for Joint Diseases), and earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Atanda volunteered as a visiting academic physician at FOCOS Orthapaedic Hospital in Ghana in April 2021. He has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles on orthopedics and the spine. His interests include alto saxophone, traveling, vidoegraphy/photography, and documentary works.
